Strata app for iPhone and iPad

f.ar (Field Augmented Reality) has been developed to allow museum visitors to access more of a museum or galleries collection. In addition to this, the App can open up further contextualised content online.
This version of the app has been designed by Field Design in Sheffield in conjunction with Experience Barnsley in order to further expand on the content for the exhibition ‘STRATA: Structures, Transformation and Solidarity’ by artists Jacob Cartwright and Nick Jordan.
Via the use of the app, users can project 3D content onto specific targets throughout the exhibition, adding another level of depth to their experience. The targets can also be downloaded and printed at home, allowing users to scan and engage with the exhibition elsewhere.
